People as "resource"

I knew we were moving to a less people-oriented workforce, but some things just make you stand there and ask "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!"

E-mail received from our Account Manager at a major telco:

Hello Matt, thanks for your email, unfortunately, the chap who would normally do this for you is away in Europe. I will have another resource allocated for you in the meantime.

<name removed> hi,

Please allocate to resource in <name removed>'s absence.

Uh, hello?! That e-mail is impersonal to the point of being obscene
